I was always fascinated with Nicola Tesla. The man invented so many beautiful things and rarely got credit for them. I noticed that there are no good portraits of Tesla, so I decided to create my own. I used reference photos that I found on Google. The picture was created in Photoshop CS2. It is my first matte painting. I was trying to express that special feeling that I get when I see geese leaving Canada to spend the winter in South America. It is my favorite time of year when the trees are turning yellow and red but the flowers are still blooming.
